The Wheelin’ to Wall 100 Course: If you can stand to hear nothing but the lonely sound of wind blowing through the spokes of your wheel, then the 100-mile is for you. This course starts and ends in Wall and saves the sweetest views for the end, taking anywhere from 8-12 hours in total. Four aid stations staggered throughout the course provide water, a personalized drop bag and a sack lunch from Cowboy Corner Café (about 60 miles into the course). A map of the course and detailed directions will guide you along gravel, mixed-surface and sometimes two-track roads past open fields and ranches, all the while under wide-open skies. The meat of the course winds past spectacular formations on paved roads through Badlands National Park. Finish the course with an audience on Main Street, that is if your friends stick around long enough for the end.
Cell phone service is good to fair throughout the course
